My wife and I recently had a wonderful romantic weekend on the Isle of Skye, using Travaig House as our base. Regarding the hotel, whilst very nice and in a lovely location, I have enjoyed nicer rooms for a similar price. There was nothing particularlily wrong, it just seemed a bit small and bland for my taste - (personal taste... More

What a fabulous hotel to treat yourself to while in Skye. The Champagne welcome started us off! The staff were lovely. The room gorgeous. The view stunning. The meals amazing. Cant wait to see Chris on Great British Menu...go for it !! We also ate in the Sister Hotel one night which was also beautiful. Highly recommend both hotels. More

My wife and I stayed as part of our mini-honeymoon following our wedding and the hotel (as well as Skye) was perfect. The service was fantastic, all the staff were very helpful and friendly and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. We would very highly recommend for it's accomodation and food... More

Welcoming. Very accommodating. The dining was quite special, delicious and well presented. We went on their day sail and it was worth every penny and more, even with rainy skys and no wind. Imagine that! The owners are exceptional people with unique professional experience in hospitality and hands on management that insures quality service at all hours and occasions. Truly... More

We recently stayed at the Toravaig on their New Year deal/package and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the experience (despite the horrendous weather but I guess you take your chances at that time of year!) and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Skye next year. The staff really couldn't do any more for us from the delightful afternoon... More

For what it is it is very expensive. One thing that stands out and that is my wife and I are avid travelers and the word ´´ hotel`` as opposed to B&B and Guest House implies more extensive services. A warning to your readers there is no laundry nor dry cleaning neither in the hotel nor on the island!!!! Our... More

Recently, we spent five nights at this wonderful hotel -- a hotel that has the best shower in the world -- the best shower of any hotel, anywhere that we have ever stayed at! From the owners to the reception staff, everyone was welcoming and helpful in every way. Whatever request we had was met with kindness and enthusiasm. The... More

We spent a long weekend in the Toravaig and its sister hotel, the Duisdale, paying £1000+ in total for the trip and were shocked at our experience in the hotel. When we arrived at the Toravaig we were told that the room we had booked and paid a deposit for had been given to someone else who had arrived early... More

Dear JMLondon Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments. We are disappointed that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. The room we had originally reserved for you was indeed booked for the date which we were not aware off due to a computer problem until the guests checked in earlier the very... More

We had a lovely two night stay in August. Good location, great food, and a nice wine list. But the hotel decor, level of luxury is not what you infer from the website. Big rooms, great loo but something is missing...At £200+/night it's expensive but that's probable what the Market is in Skye Not sure why people find the breakfast... More

Toravaig House was the last hotel we stayed at on our trip to London and Scotland and we had been looking forward to it. We had booked more than 8 months in advance ( and paid a substantial deposit) and I had specifically requested an ocean view room with two beds for my grandson and my daughter who were my... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We are disappointed that your stay with us did not meet your expectations.
