The hostel is clean and spacious. We used the private room and it was comfortable. However, an annoying feature was the flooded floor in the wash room and out of order shower. Fabulous hostel perched on a hill overlooking the ferry terminal. Spacious, well equipped and lovely staff.The guy on reception really tried hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Not much going on in Uig, but take the single track road across Skye from here and enjoy spectacular scenery.

For anyone exploring the north of Skye, this hostel is a great option. The location is at the top of a small hill with an amazing view. Good starting point if you want to see the North of the Isle of Skye. The road that leads to the hostel could use a bit of work but overall it's a nice and cozy hostel. Pretty quiet although you'll find yourself surrounded by sheep if you go out for a quick walk.

They split the sexes so I couldn't stay with my friends I had to sleep in a dorm with strangers. There was only one shower and two toilets for all the girls and only two showers for all the men.
