Great place to stay, comfortable and clean. The house has beautiful period features but with the all the requirements for today's travellers. Room was very comfortable with great views of Rothesay Bay. Great Scottish breakfast prepared to a high standard as well as a range of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts. Great place to stay. House is very beautiful and the hosts are lovely. Easy to walk into the restuarants and pubs, its a small town. Room was very comfortable and spacious with a sea view, nicely decorated in keeping with period features. Breakfast was great too!

A very comfortable room with a great view of the bay and the shipping. Barbara and Frank made us feel very welcome, and provided an excellent breakfast. We took Frank's recommendation of a walking tour of Rothesay and found it to be most interesting and informative.

If you are looking for somewhere as per the title look no further. It’s half a mile from the ferry and 100 yards from the nearest bar. Barbara and Frank are perfect hosts. Good sized room, nicely furnished, super views out of the dining room.
