We stayed there for 2 nights one wet weekend. Had a room at the back of the hotel with no view at all....we tried to change to one with a view but no luck as they were all booked. I think it probably costs a few pounds more for a sea view but it must be worth it. Our room... More

Have just stayed for 2 nights at Chandlers Hotel and found it to be very relaxing. We paid a supplement to stay in the Montgomery Suite which sadly was not as described. When this was brought to the owners attention we were offered the suite minus the supplement for a future stay which seemed reasonable. Peaceful setting with nice staff... More

I have not yet stayed at Chandlers but have been looking at the reviews on Tripadvisor as I always do. However, I must defend Andrew in view of Charlotte L's review. We have booked to stay in August and I have rung Chandlers twice regarding our booking. Andrew has been lovely on both occasions. We were originally going to a... More

He was very uninterested in speaking to me or responding to the concerns raised. My concerns are as follows: 1) I was assured at the time of making the booking by telephone that an... More

Your behavior over the telephone was the final straw for the hotel; We had corresponded via email on at least 4 separate occasions – 3 discussing just how many freebies you could manage to squeeze out of us. Yes, you had purchased a discount voucher from a company to redeem at the hotel for a 2 night stay for 2... More

Just back from a lovely two night stay at Chandlers Hotel with my wife and two couples. We've all had a great time, enjoying hotel, food and friendly staff. Alison could not have been more accommodating, making us all feel very welcome from the off, paying particular attention to my wife who hadn't been feeling too good with flu. Julie... More

Just returned from two nights on an Itison voucher was supposed to be in a "superior" room but room was small with no where to sit to enjoy the complimentary champagne to enjoy the view!! Dinner was adequate but "free wine" with 3 course meal was the worst wine I've ever tasted hence never drank it!! Would never have ordered... More

Stayed for 2 nights on a voucher deal - £109 for 2 nights bed and breakfast - original offer was £99 but I paid an extra £10 to upgrade to a "superior" room. This was my second visit to Chandlers. On this visit we stayed in the Kennedy room - I had tried to book the Montgomery (the room I... More
