We were thought the farm was beautiful and our room huge and very well decorated with lots of lovely ornaments and finishing touches. There is so much attention to detail and we would love to return. Sheila was lovely and great to chat to. The drive through the housing estate is deceiving but once on the farm the views are... More

Sheila is a wonderful host and has a beautiful farmhouse building which is a joy just to sit in and enjoy looking at the place, but she also recommended a restaurant (the Tullie Inn) which was just the sort of thing we were looking for. There's a double room with a small room next to it and a bathroom connected... More

We stayed for one night on our way to Odan, we had a wonderfully warm welcome by Sheila and the room was fantastic. The place has everything you could ask for. We were the only visitors so took the opportunity to see the other rooms and they all seemed supper and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and we would... More

The place had everything you could ask for. We stayed at the "The Stable" (perfect for a group of 4). The decoration is lovely, room temperature was perfect and everything was very comfortable. We were received with lovely homemade pancakes! Sheila and her husband make Dumbain Farm a perfect place to stay and we would definitely stay there again!

We visited balloch from london. The stay at dumbain farm was a present from my best friend. We walked the loch, climbed the hills, visited the castle and drank with the locals. Total treat. Dumbain farm made the stay. The lady who runs the farm treated us to tea when we arrived cold and wet, even though it was her... More

The farm is a lovely BndB, located just on the outskirts of Balloch, within 20 mins walk to the main train station. Sheila and George are wonderful hosts that will make you feel welcomed and at home. The rooms are very nicely but simply decorated and the Stable, where we stayed has also a small fridge and a kettle. There... More

We were happy to discover this bed and breakfast. We had a comfortable nights stay in the double suite like room, in fact we had one of the best night's sleep there. Gorgeous view of the farm land from the window. Shelia made us up a well thought out breakfast with everything we could possibly want. She even picked up... More

Following our visit last year on our way from Lancashire up to the West Coast, we decided to stop again at Dunbain on our way to Mull. Not one to stop at the same place usually more than once, I decided to make an exception with Dunbain. And we will probably do so again and again on our way North.... More

We stayed one night in our way to highlands. Good location, easy to find, extremely peaceful, great room (the Stable) for a family. You must realize that it is a self service breakfast, no cooked scottish breakfast.
