Despite the fact the hotel itself is a little dated in terms of decor, it was clean and extremely comfortable. My room was spacious, airy and benefitted from 2 opening windows! Stayed one night here. Not a very friendly warm welcome. Asked for something to eat at 20.50 and was told they couldn't serve us anything, not even a sandwich or toast. The hotel is not actually in the village of Balquhidder but on the A84 at the turn-off to the the village, quite well centred for a driving holiday.
