The hotel is dated by old carpets. The hallways have a funny smell, and while the furniture is new - the rest is old. Also their wifi only works in the lobby. More

Stayed here for a midweek overnighter. Hotel is lovely nicely furnished and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was right at the top there is no lift but room was large and bathroom was huge and spotless. Not much to do in village unless you like pubs and walking. Hotel has a pool and surrounding areas are... More

Went here for Sunday lunch. On arrival there were loads of people milling about the reception areas and it was somewhat chaotic. Checked where the restaurant was and was told to go in. Got in and we were standing about with several staff walking by and ignoring us, obviously preoccupied with whatever was going on with all the people about.... More

Trecently I purchased a groupon voucher for afternoon tea. The surroundings were very nice and the staff were very helpful. The disappoiinting thing was the food. The quality and quantity of the food was fine but there just was not very much of it. We had two finger sandwiches each, a scone the size of a 50p. There was loads... More

Rooms: We had a standard double and was very pleased with it. The room itself very big with a king size bed and had lovely views. The bathroom had a lovely big bath, over shower, sink and w.c. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was very quiet and we slept very well, even with the window open. Spa: We were... More

Booked via Hotel Connexions website for £50 DDB per person. Staff friendly and the location lovely. Hotel was lovely and very clean. Evening meal in the restaurant was great and was very good value. Room was basic however very clean. Power shower had an inferior bracket which meant the shower was spraying at an angle. Radiator in the room could... More
