Lovely Hotel, very friendly staff, food was excellent. Our evening meal both nights was delicious. Breakfast was fabulous. The hotel's location beside the River Lochy was wonderful. The only caveat I have, and it's a minor one, is that the room could have had nicer decor. The plain beige wallpaper looked like lining paper. A bit of pastel colour would... More

Pretty easy to find, first impressions not as expected, the place is a little 'rustic and worn', I had to command the receptionists attention for service when checking in, which means we did not receive the usual welcome and attention. We were in a family room as a double so we had a bit of room, the bathroom was tiny... More

A good setting with very disappointing aspects. The owner had taken the decision to close the hotel bar at 12 midnight and the barmaid who communicated this information was aggressive and rude. Future visitors should be careful to avoid the dangerous entrance where the door mat has sunk to an inch below the level of the metal frame. My wife... More

A nice little hotel set in a beautiful location. It is surrounded by the most stunning scenery with lovely views from the holtel. The hotel was clean & the staff very friendly & is pet friendly, our dog was made to feel very welcome. The food was enjoyable & tasty. The room was on the small side, but was clean... More

We found the hotel very nice and clean, our room was clean and comfy, good hospitality tray, plenty of room in the restaurant to eat, the hotel staff were very attentive, and the chef was very artistic in his preparation, it looked to good to eat, only one draw back, the plates were cold. On the whole a pleasant stay. More

A nice meal in the conservatory, overlooking the garden. The restaurant (serving the same food) was also attractive. We booked in here as a stop on the way south from Inverness. There is a dearth of decent hotels on the A82, and this was rather short notice. We thought we would give Killin a try. We won't bother again. One... More

We booked a family room through a groupon deal. The room was clean with plenty of refreshments, shortbread and toiletries but the room could have been doing with a makeover. The toilet roll holder was broken, the handle for shower was broken, the 2 halves of the base of bed wouldnt meet right because of pipe running to the heater,... More

With a large room and four poster bed for £75 it was excellent value. A good evening meal In the conservatory with riverside view. The bedroom was clean with a modern shower room but hot water was a hit or a miss. Friendly staff, great location and really good Scottish breakfast. We will be back!! More

Picked up a deal for a stay at this hotel and will be going back. We arrived a day earlier than booked, bit of blonde moment for one of our party! the receptionist was exceptional and very quickly did a bit of rejigging and booked us in, no small ask for a party of four. The hotel itself is clean... More
