Excellent quality food, stylish reasonably priced rooms and of course a wonderful view to Loch Lomond. I've visited the Inverbeg on a number of occasions and have always come back refreshed after a relaxing and stimulating stay. The large bar has an excellent array of Malt whiskies, for those who want to drink in the atmosphere in style, along with... More

I booked our one night stay via Laterooms.com and was a little worried that at £49 room only for a double we might have an unpleasant stop over on our way to the Highlands of Scotland but, we couldn't have been more surprised by the quality of the Hotel, room, food, the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Our room... More

We stayed at the "Beach House" (Loch House?!) for 2 nights in March. This part of the accommodation is a converted private residence a short distance from the Hotel via an under-pass of the main road. The location is beautiful, just a few feet from the famous Loch Lomond. Our room was clean and comfortable but perhaps doesn't meet the... More

Visited the hotel last week for a meal. The food itself was ok - just ok to be honest. However, the real issue is the staff - unfriendly (especially manageress). Really slow, disorganised and dis-interested staff both behind the bar and waiting on tables. Don't normally comment on service alone but it was so bad! More

I don't know where to start with this review, the evening started well with a good main meal the portions were a good size although some of our food was cold. Then we waited and waited but no desserts appered so we asked one of the staff if it was possible to get them, two out of our seven desserts... More

Stayed one night for 50th birthday celebrations. Little disappointed in the Inverbeg for a number of reasons. Unable to produce a hot cup of cappucino coffee despite two attempts. Reception areas bit scruffy and could do with a good clean, carpets and dining room chairs need changed - heavily stained. Unable to charge any bar or food items to the... More

Just back from an overnight stay at the Ben Vane room within the Inverbeg's Beach House. We have previously stayed at the Inverbeg Inn prior to it being bought over and renovated. What a difference! Overall the room was absolutely stunning - with an equally stunning view. A few wee snagging issues which let it down slightly (namely shrinkage within... More

We stayed in the Beach House - ask for the Ben Vane, it's got the best views. It was really nice and quiet with a great view of the loch and the wildlife. The staff at the inn were very helpful and friendly and the service for food and drink was first class. Now, you may think that deep fried... More
