Like others before us we stay here whilst walking the West Highland Way and I have to say it was our favourite over the whole week. We were made very welcome with a cup of tea and flapjack. I was able to dry out my damp boots and had a load of washing done too! The bedrooms and bathrooms had... More

We stayed here during our West Highland Way adventure. It was the best place we stayed during the whole week. Firstly we crossed from the path and over the river. It was a bit swollen and I fell in :-/. Ellen was a star and took my boots away to dry on the Raeburn. (Don't know how she managed to... More

When you've walked over the hill from Loch Lomond and tiredness has crept in,a pot of tea with home baking, a comfortable room, shower complete with deliciously scented soaps and unctions are precisely what you need. A delicious dinner and a warm welcome completed a great overnight stay.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BED AND BREAKFAST hotels we have ever stayed in, we are not walkers but they catered for our every need, even dropping us all of at the pub! The breakfasts were lovely with fresh eggs from the live in chickens. WE WILL RETURN!

We were booked into Glengarry Guest house for the fourth night of our West Highland Way adventure. We arrived drenched and cold and were welcomed in by Ellen, with a nice hot cuppa and lovely home made flapjacks. The beds provided a good night's sleep after a delicious evening meal.

My husband and I stayed at Glengarry House for one night in May '13 while walking the West Highland Way. We received a warm welcome that included a hot drink and some home cooking, much appreciated after a day in the rain. Our room was great, really comfortable and spacious. We dined there too with other guests and dinner was... More

My husband and I were booked into the Glengarry House when we walked the West Highland Way. We were welcomed by Andy on arrival and Ellen gave us afternoon tea with the most delicious flapjacks imaginable. Then, although we weren't booked in for an evening meal, we had seen Ellen's menu and asked if we could stay for our dinner.... More

Day Four of our West Highland Way Walk and we saw Glengarry House, or rather a small sign to it pointing over a river and a large fence, just as we came to the outskirts of Tyndrum. We needed to stop at that point - or at least our feet did. I had forgotten what hard work was the WHW.... More

My Dad & I stayed on a WHW stopover. Everything was just perfect and superb quality- including the hosts. They have thought of everything you need and it's fabulous not to spend any extra energy where you don't have to. Ellen's arrival flapjack was to die for!
