If you're looking for an unusual hotel in a beautiful setting then look no further for Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel is exactly that. Granted, the hotel is well off the beaten track and best found during daylight hours but the location is fabulous. Perched on rocks fronting the Irish Sea the still working lighthouse is magnificent and the pleasure of staying... More

Stayed here for 1 night in the North Channel Suite to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Whilst it is true that the decor is a little dated and shabby in places, the view from the conservatory makes up for it. There is a stunning 180 dgree view from the mouth of Loch Ryan, up the coast, acroos to Ailsa Craig with... More

We stayed in the Stevenson Suite for several days at the beginning of April, part of the time with other family, which included very young children. Our suite was comfortable, clean and beautifully situated with a view of the lighthouse and passing ferries. As before, meals were excellent, and there was no problem bringing young children into the dining room. The Staff were... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel, as we had booked at the last minute we could not get 2 nights in the Ballantrae Suite, so we had one night in the Ballantrae and one night in the Loch Ryan Suite. This gave a good comparison between the old and the new. The Ballantrae being new had new... More

As soon as you enter this hotel, you relax! It is a long time since anyone brought our bag to our room - that was the start of a lovely break. We had a balcony and were able to sit outside drinking a cup of tea, looking down the coast (even in March!). The food was exceptional - try the... More

We had an excellent weekend stay at this special. My wife, father-in-law and I shared the Ballantrae suite and my Brother-in-law and his wife stayed in the Loch Ryan suite. The location is stunning with views across Loch Ryan and up the Scottish coast and across to Northern Ireland. The accommodation was first class with both suites providing comfortable sitting... Having experienced the service, accomodation and food of this hotel before, it was the obvious choice to seek some much needed peace and quiet.and time for quiet reflection and rest. Booked the North Channel Suite with fabulous 270' sea view slightly uphill from the main hotel. Service is excellent-unfussy, helpful, friendly, efficient but not at all intrusive. The food was,... A fantastic wedding weekend! We had exclusive use of the Corsewall Lighthouse for our Wedding reception. Everything was absolutely perfect. Mr Ward, Kay, Sandra and the staff could not have done more to make the whole weekend magical. Every last detail was attended to with professionalism at every stage of the planning for our special day. The day itself was... More

2 friends and ourselves took the Stevenson and Ballantrae suites at the end of January. Arrived seperately in darkness and greeted with clear unpolluted skies with the lighthouse beam illuminating all around. We all agreed then we had made the right choice. Very friendly greeting by genuinely friendly people who made every effort to make us welcome. The suites are... More
