I was given a tiny room with one bed. One of the windows is broken with tape over the two-foot long break. The windows aren't sealed and don't fit properly so drafty is an understatement. Wind is blowing in around the frame of the window. Their card readers are old and need servicing, at one point making me locked out... More

If you look around the lobby and other public areas of the hotel, and have a high appreciation for the ornate architecture that just is not made anymore, you will have a four star experience at the Peabody. It's the type of place where when you sit in the lobby it just feels like a special place. (Unless its Noon... More

This hotel is the prime example of a brand name that's slowly failing to live up to the hype of being a premier hotel. Case in point, my recent stay shows there are sad slips that all add up to a less than anticipated experience. I check in and I'm offered an "upgrade" to a suite. The front desk agent... More

We just stayed one night on our way to another location. The hotel is top notch, comfortable, beautiful and you can't beat the location. It is expensive, but it is worth it! I accidently left my spare key with the valet and they were very helpful making arrangements to return it to me. I don't have a bad thing to... More

The location was good. The lobby was very nice & beautifully decorated coming into Christmas but unless ur a male or with a male, don't expect to get served at the bar in any good time. Was very disappointing the bar service since I was the woman with the money.

We stay one night at Peabody in Memphis. The hotel is located in a good position for visiting the city and enjoying the nightlife, but the street is noisy! The room is nice and clean, but is too small! Looking at the floor plan this room is the smallest, so ask which room you will get! Additionally the king size... More

Dear gimo2010, Thank you for telling us about your recent stay at The Peabody. Being a historic hotel built in the 1920s, many of our guest rooms have unique layouts and, indeed, some are smaller than others. However, I am confused by your comment about our beds, as mattress sizes run standard and our Double/Queen/King beds are the same measurements... More

The Peabody is the kind of hotel my Grandfather stayed in. At least that's what I'd like to think, spacious, well appointed, no detail overlooked. If you need to visit Memphis and have the cash to invest in a grand hotel stay at the Peabody and check in just before 5pm. The beds are very comfortable too.

My husband booked us in here as a special treat for me and to do the Elvis tours. Wow! It is worth the 5 stars easily. Staff superb, nothing was a problem. Our room was simply devine. The bathroom compact, but packed with everything we needed and loads of towels, and best of all a large magnifed mirror with excellent... More

The highlight of visiting this hotel for me was browsing the men's clothing store in the lobby. They have some incredible shirts in there. I ate a simple lunch and breakfast in the lobby restaurant but opted to have dinner at one of the restaurants outside the hotel. The rooms are comfortable but I felt the whole place was in... More

Peabody is the best place to stay downtown... close to Beale street, restaurants, bars, cafe... Loved the history of the hotel and of course the ducks! Friendly staff, lively atmosphere especially in the lobby area with the bar and pianist. A couple of shops to browse or shop. Room was nice and clean with comfy bed and flat screen TV.... More
