We have stayed here a number of times. The restaurant and quality of food are just lovely and the service is excellent. However, I am not happy about some of the rooms. We stayed in an attic room last time and, in my opinion, it was disappointing. The room and bathroom in particular are in need of an urgent refit... More

We stayed here a few weeks ago for a birthday treat. The room was clean and functional, the staff were lovely and attentive. However,I was expecting to be wowed by the restaurant, but was not.Very average and overpriced for what it was. Maybe the food spark has left the building!

We have stayed and dined here on several occasions but thought that our latest visit last weekend was our best experience yet. The venue and staff are always very nice but the food was first class. We had the 6 course tasting menu and could not fault any of it. Breakfast was great too! We look forward to going back.

We have just returned to Scotland after yet another marvellous stay with Bryan and Susan at Tyddyn LLan which we discovered some years ago and have relished returning to. Bryan's well deserved Michelin star and other awards do justice to the wonderful cuisine and Susan's front of house skills are consummate. All the staff are so helpful and personable. This... More

I've been staying at the Tyddyn Llan for many years The previous owner, Peter Kindred, was something of a character and this was our third visit with the present owners. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and were shown to room 12, a pleasant enough room that was rather chilly. The bed was comfortable but made up with sheets and... More

Although we haven't had the opportunity to stay in this little Welsh gem. We have experienced both lunch and dinner. The welcome is warm and like being brought into a home rather than a hotel . The food is just mouthwateringly good particularly the little appetizers that are brought to the lounge while you make the difficult decision of what... More

A birthday treat for my husband, our 2nd visit to this wonderful restaurant. This time we decided to stay the night to make the most of our evening and enjoy the fine wine. The staff at this special place are second to none, even gave my husband a birthday card and homemade fudge with a candle in, lovely touch. To... More

Non-stop sunshine added to the experience but even without it would have been brilliant. Warm friendly service, cosy lounges, elegant dining room and Brian's fabulous food. We found the portions a little too large - it can be off-putting to have large portions on your plate when you naturally have a smaller appetite. My husband couldn't manage a dessert on... More

Booked one night's stay in a standard double room over the telephone and was asked if it was a special occasion. I said it was our Silver Wedding Anniversary and thought no more about it. On arrival we were upgraded to the best room in the house at the front with four poster. Lovely room and luxury bathroom & excellent... More

We stayed at the Tyddyn Llan on a Winter Warmer deal which was good value and included a night's stay, afternoon tea, evening meal and breakfast. The room wasn't very large but excellent use of the space had been made, it was immaculately clean and the bathroom was great ( excellent shower ). Canapés were served in the lounge before... More
