Went with friends for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere. The food was fairly basic but well done and reasonable prices. It wasn't the most fantastic meal ever but was certainly good and I will definitely go again.

When we booked here we got changed from one lady giving us a double room that we wanted then mentioning kgb another lady saying the first lady was mistaken and the room was a twin we could have. When we checked in we were told that we had to ask at the bar when ordering our food for the special... More

I have stayed here many times en route to the Ferry Terminal in Holyhead. The welcome is always so friendly and the staff are extremely helpful. The bedrooms are basic and clean but the bathrooms are quite dated. I always opt for the "home made" dishes on the menu which I have found to be delicious. Great value for money.

A friend had recommended The Valley Hotel to us for an evening meal. We were staying at Trearddur Bay Hotel and found places around quite expensive. These did two meals for £10. I have to say it was faultless. The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh and well cooked with probably the nicest onion rings and garlic ciabatta I have ever... More

We arrived by ferry into Holyhead after midnight and made our way straight to the hotel. They had accomodate our late arrival by giving us the code for the door and leaving a key and a welcome not on the reception table. The hotel was a lot better than I was expecting. If you are getting picky (as lots do)... More

The staff at this hotel are the rudest people I have ever come across. Their attitude to a complaint was...we are a freehouse so you can't comlain to anyone so tough!! The staff were a complete nightmare! The food was cold, dry and inedible in most cases. The tables were left uncleaned for over an hour. The staff were so... More

Great food and lovely staff. The prices are great not too expensive at all. Bedrooms need updating but overall great location, huge car park in the back and the menu is good value for money...will definitely be going back.

We stayed here 13/10/12, booking two rooms. From the very beginning the staff were very friendly and efficient (Sheila took our booking) and welcomed us upon our arrival. Although the decor may appear a little dated, both rooms were very clean, with the linen being of a high quality, soft and fresh. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were generally... More
