We stayed at Manorhaus last weekend and from the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were special guests. Our bags were carried in for us and we were shown into our room which was lovely and had a great view over the rooftops to the hills beyond. We were able to make good use of the amazing private... We dined here for the first time in years on Monday. Herd good reviews around town recently so tried it out. I Phonesto book a table at 5.30pm and managed to get a table for 6.30 the same day. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco which the bar staff kindly let us taste before we committed. The Prosecco was lovely... More

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Manorhaus - We were visiting the village for a wedding at the castle. The place is well decorated with lots of artwork and items that you will want to take home! The rooms are clean and homely with comfy beds and feather duvets. The whole place had a nice feel about it and... More

What a pity - a beautiful establishment in lovely town with fantastic food, is spoilt by lack of friendliness and personal interest in their clientele. The brusque manner of Christopher is enough to have you walking straight back out of the door. The rooms are lovely and unique, as you would expect in a boutique hotel with interesting art work... Really lovely, well put-together hotel. Tasteful decor and we felt comfortable there. Staff was helpful, informative and friendly. Would definitely stay again, but would make sure I use the sppaaaaa next time. Great mini cinema. Breakfast: a winner (the early start made us enjoy the area much more than we would have done had it been until late morning). Have... More

My husband and I stayed here on a 2 night mini break. The room we stayed in (Oriel 2) was very comfortable. The hotel has lots of charm inside and looks like many of the original features have been maintained but interlaced with a modern twist. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and found it a had... More

A friend and I Stayed here, the first date was unavailable as there was only one twin room. I spoke to a very charming man on the phone. We were told if indeed we wanted the twin that we would have to upgrade. We did so for our own comfort. When the email conformation came through I did not second... More

We stayed at the Manorhaus for a 2 night weekend break. It's a gem of a hotel - stylish but really comfortable too - in the centre of lovely Ruthin. We were made to feel so welcome by Chris; he and the rest of the team are so friendly and helpful and work so hard to ensure a comfortable and... More

We went to manorhaus to celebrate my boyfirends birthday in December. The expectations i had of the hotel were superseded by the stay itself. The staff catered to our every need and made us feel like VIP guest throughout our whole stay. We stayed in the largest room (Oriel 8)which has a wet room and roll top bath as well... More
