Have stayed here twice, last time was on 13th Oct 2012. Lovely hotel, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Lovely big room with a huge bed, spotlessly clean. But their best point is the breakfast, as good as anything I've had at a 5 star hotel, overall excellent value for money. Will be coming back again.

This hotel sits between the River Cammarch and the River Irfon, both offering excellent fly fishing. I was there with a party of a dozen fisherfolk from Yorkshire. Kathryn is, has been mentioned previously, the friendliest hotel keeper you are likely to find anywhere. Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Such a warm welcome from Kathryn which made us feel very relaxed immediately. Had a lovely room with a big comfortable bed. Good hearty breakfast and we ate in the hotel 2 evenings, excellent food. Excellent location for walking. We left feeling totally relaxed and look forward to staying there again.

A perfect base from which to explore the area.Ideal for relaxing.We happened upon the world bog snorkelling championships down the road and met some interesting characters also staying at the hotel.Couldn't ask for more.

perfect for a luxurious w/e away in unspoiled mid wales. great for walkers, bikers, anglers or just for a relaxing breath of fresh air. lovely hospitality & full breakfast. we had the room with bath overlooking garden which was quiet & comfortable. thankyou kathryn, we'll be back!

Staying for eater weekend and this place is AWESOME. The staff is so friendly, especially the owner Catherine. Her food is delicious and all locally sourced.
