Classical old-style hotel with everything you'd expect from a manor of this age. Very well maintained interior with a sweeping staircase and all the charm and character you could hope for. Jose was a great host and accommodated all our needs (family of 11). Breakfast was excellent with a vast buffet selection of hot and cold offerings - I highly... More

I booked my family's stay at Norton Manor House because of its proximity to my wife's family root and because of it's reviews. Arrival there found all the positive reviews to be on mark and despite the area being a quiet part of Wales it was one of the pluses. Jose was a great host and gave attention to our... More

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel full of charm and character, idyllically situated in the middle of rich pasture land full of fat and contented sheep and cows. The service was welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. The room was clean, sizable and well furnished (- with a fabulous shower!). The food was first rate - delicious mushroom starter and... Lovely food and atmosphere. Super room and really enjoyed my stay. They deserve more success and more visitors who would appreciate the area and surroundings.

If you are seeking an interesting, picturesque, quiet, welcoming, elegant, and historic hotel, Norton Manor is where you need to be. We visited from Canada and stayed six nights, eating most of our meals at the Manor during this time. Our room was spacious, quiet and sunny as well as tasteful and very clean with extremely comfortable beds. The food... More

We were given a very warm welcome and the staff could not have been more friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and kept very clean by the house keeper Heather. The food in the restaurant was delicious, not overpriced, beautifully prepared and presented . The attractive tasty fruit platter offered as an alternative breakfast demonstrated their willingness... More

We have stayed in a lot of hotels in this price bracket and they were all much better furnished, cleaner and warmer. They are nice people, but we rang before booking to explain that I have allergies and check if it was a suitable venue. We asked about bedding and everything. We were promised that we would be in a... More

This is a proper manor house set in the rolling countryside of mid-Wales. From the initial drive through the grounds up to the impressive front door, you just knew that this hotel was a quality establishment. The room was huge and very well decorated with period furniture, and a well appointed bathroom. This is a family run hotel, Jose and... More

We arrived after Christmas and stayed for almost a week. Despite the constant rain we enjoyed our trip to Wales and part of this was having the hotel to ourselves for most of the stay. With two boisterous boys, being able to let them run about without annoying other guests was great. The rooms are certainly large and well decorated.... More
