We didn't have high expectations of accommodation in this town, which was somewhat rundown. We wanted clean, comfortable accommodation within walking distance to the hotel. This was exactly what we got, cost was most reasonable and the owners were very pleasant.

we booked here on the basis of throwing reviews and was not disappointed. Such a clean and nice smelling room with a very comfortable mattress. Our hosts were lovely and obliging. Would recommend this motel to anyone.

We booked in on New Year's Eve and asked for suggestions for dinner that night. The host, John immediately replied that we could share a BBQ with them! And we did! As well as several other guests. I was in Avoca briefly for a breakfast seminar with tourism operators and stayed overnight at the Avoca Motel. The hosts John and Suzanne are the friendliest people you would ever like to meet and treated me like I was a family member as soon as I arrived. With only a few options after a long day I called in to the Avoca Motel - and was greeted by Digger, the host golden retriver x poodle. Would have no problems at all recommending as a place to stay, the owners were very friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious.

This place was great! Id definitely recommend staying here. The room was awesome. With a really comfy bed n electric blanket! The spa was awesome too. Sue n john were really lovely n friendly people too. I would definitely stay here next time i go to avoca to drink all that delicious pyrenees wine :-D
