We had a great time in Takaru. We had a powered site. It was very quiet. There is a family bathroom to bath children. The kitchen and the "living room" is basic but fine and has some charm with a fire. But the show-stopper are definitely the kungaroos and emus !!! Just wonderful !!!

The previous managers have moved on and the new ones are fabulous!! The cleaning and maintenance has improved and the managers and new staff are extremely pleasant. My girls loved the bike hire, the pool was a little cold though. This is a relaxing park to visit with the wildlife always around.

This was our 3rd time staying in this caravan park, and as per our previous visits we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kids had a great time feeding all the birds and watching the kangaroos. Very friendly Managers who like to catch up for a chat. The fires make the nights that much better too!!

great sites, lots off trees a good family park. Plenty of native animals strolling around the park. Camp fires are a great touch.
