Furmston House & Studio is located right behind the hotel. The house has a fantastic connection to the main street town with the privacy and quiet of your own house. Beautifully renovated for luxurious accommodation, the house welcomes with choice of one, two or three bedrooms each with a beautiful ensuite, king-size bed, crisp white linen, mohair throws and screen-printed cushions. The living room with Nordic touches looks to the mountains - French doors and windows stream open to bring in sunshine and connect the house to the north-facing deck and garden. Furmston House may be booked as a whole or as a two-bedroom house and separate one-bedroom studio.
I loved the Studio room! Loved the decor and the whole layout! I also found the bed and pillows comfy! The whole room was very very clean! I would recommend this place to anyone! The location was very peaceful!

Great house with all the amenities that you could ask for. The weather turned cold and wet so we lit the fire and curled up and read books and magazines. Great central location only a minute away from shops and cafes.

Stayed in a one bedroom unit/villa at the back of the hotel. The rooms were not serviced. When We enquires were told the towels were usually not replaced during a stay and the garbage remained uncollected. We were there for 3 nights. The bed was not good. The advertised T2 products consisted of 2 t bags. The front garden was unkempt and the one outdoor chair filthy. These people are so busy serving patrons at the pub that they have forgotten about the Guests at the villas even though the rate for this accommodation is higher. Will not return.

Fell in love with Furmston at first sight! It was my dream home, well equipped with modern comfort, yet fashioned with rustic elements to elude cosiness and warmth. The living room with the fireplace and the verandah were ideal sociable area for the family to share wine and food. Located right in the centre of Healsville, this beautiful property is within a 5 minute walk to stores and a supermarket, and highly recommended eating places. We were truly inspired and it was really a holiday haven!

After looking for a nice place to at Healesville we looked up Healesville Hotel and discovered they had accommodation behind the hotel. There was the house and a Studio connected to it. We chose the studio and it fantastic...!! Nicely decorated and a beautiful modern taste. The king size bed was firm but comfortable. It was clean and cost to say the least. Thanks for a great overnight stay.

Cozy, comfy little hideaway, all the mod cons except for instant coffee were provided for! Well worth it to stay separate from Healvesville Hotel and have the studio to yourself. Facilities were very modern, bed was comfortable and all and all was well worth the price. Would highly recommend.

WOW!! This place is even more lovely than the pictures indicate! Best kitchen anywhere, beautiful living room with fireplace (it was a bit chilly when we were in town and we thoroughly enjoyed a couple of fires), two ensuite bedrooms. Perfect for two couples travelling together, each bedroom with its own full bathroom. View from the deck is lovely over the town and into the hills beyond and the colors were gorgeous when we were there. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the deck in the evening before retreating into the coziness of the fireplace. This was a bit of a splurge for us, but well worth it. Highly recommend, don't know how you could possibly do better....hotel is right across the street and we had a lovely dinner there one evening.

After booking into the Healesville Hotel for a night we were contacted prior to arrival and informed that, due to an issue at the hotel, our group of four were now being accommodated at Furmston House. Little did we know at the time how serendipitous this really was. The hotel rooms are good but Furmston House is another level of accommodation again. The house can be configured to accommodate 2, 4 or 6. Good design. Plenty of room. Great facilities. All bedrooms ensuited. Could have happily stayed for a week.

This house is perfect! Very well appointed and situated in a cute little town. Food at the hotel was amazing! Toiletries provided were lovely. We enjoyed our daily visit with a red parrot on the deck. The parrot was never hungry, just curious and would sit on our hands. We will definitely be back

We stayed at Furmston House/Studio the night before our daughter's wedding. We had the whole place to ourselves and on the morning of the wedding the lighting was perfect for hair/make up for the ladies. The facilities were excellent, beautiful toiletries etc and the beds were just so comfortable. Wedding was at Stones of the Yarra Valley so it was only a 10 minute taxi ride back after the wedding to our cosy home. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
