Stayed at this hotel for graduation weekend at Vanderbilt. The staff was lovely. Helpful, thoughtful, willing to go the extra mile. Made an effort to make a festive weekend of it. The hotel is a bit worn -- not what you'd expect, given the price. So, not a five-star review. More

The rooms and halls are very worn-- the furniture is falling apart and there are holes in the carpet. The bathroom and separate sink area were small and dingy. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable. More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in the end of April. Hotel is very old and dated. Far from the quality level I see in other Marriott properties. This was the worst Marriott hotel I ever stayed in. Good thing about the hotel is the staff. Very attentive and willing to help. Location is also great. More

Stayed at this Courtyard on 2 trips to Nashville within a couple weeks. This was not my first choice for a Marriott hotel in Nashville. All the downtown Marriott Hotels were booked or did not offer the gov't rate. Both trips, the Courtyard Vanderbilt/West End was the only hotel to offer my required rate. Arrived late Sunday night, check in... More

Spent 3 day weekend for school reunion & to visit friends, so proximity to Vanderbilt was helpful. Also, I have to say that the shower water pressure & temp were wonderful. Can't think of much else positive to say. The hotel is really worn-it looks more like a Motel 6. Biggest issue though was a housekeeping issue. Two days in... More

I stay at a lot of Marriott properties, and I love the Courtyards, especially their new designs for the lobbies. This particular Courtyard is in need of a remodeling. It was fairly expensive by my standards ($169.00/night with a corporate discount), and it is obvious that it is well-used by people. The carpets, elevators, and the rooms are average at... More

This was the worst Marriot hotel i've ever stayed in! there was no enforced "quiet time" people in fact were yelling at eachother, running through the halls, playing loud music etc. at 3:30 in the morning!!! there was no presence of security and the road nois was redicilous! also you could hear the plumbing all over the hotel. there was... This place is old, dirty and decrepit. I would expect to find a room like this in a lower end chain, not in a Marriott hotel. If I thought I had any chance of getting a refund on the three rooms I rented for one night, I would have moved immediately! The reviews posted that give this hotel high marks... More

Thank you so much for the feedback, we have recently been purchased by a new company and we are scheduled for a full renovation later this year. I agree that it is frustrating to not have your room ready after a day of travel. We make it a priority to take care of all of our guests. With all busy... More

This is a usual Courtyard in a good location near the exciting West End of Nashville. Only problem is if you have to turn left to head to Vandy. The property is at an intersection and it can be difficult with traffic. Great valet parking attendants. Allowed us to keep car up front between meetings. More

I stayed here two nights, its a very busy hotel in the west end of Nashville near Vanderbilt. The weekend I was there it was overflowing with people, some of whom were rowdy, no doubt as it was a NCAA weekend and St. Pats' day as well. The common areas were not in great shape, while I saw nothing that... More
