This hotel is a nice place. I'd say we were pretty happy with this choice, and would probably stay here again. Quite a few cons, but outweighed by the Pros:
Pros:
-Fast shuttle service to and from downtown (drop off and pick up besides Legends on Broadway and 5th).
-Across the street from McDonalds (for breakfast, since there is no...

It's clean, close to the city and they have a free shuttle that runs pretty late. The service is good and the amenities all work well. But it's pretty tatty and situated on a noisy road. On reflection we decided we should have paid $10 and just stayed downtown.
One major irritation: we booked nearly a year in advance, on...

My husband and I stayed here on our way through Nashville in early May. We booked quite late, and weren't expecting much. This hotel was fabulous! We had an amazing view of the downtown area and the Parthenon - complete with a tiny balcony that was perfect for taking pictures.

I have stayed here twice on business, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere of the Commodore bar. It has some great staff who make a guy from out of town feel welcome. Its Nashville, so almost every bar has country singers hoping to be the next big discovery in town, and the Commodore is no exception.
The room itself was...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt. The location is a perfect downtown location with medical facilities and all sorts of restaurants nearby and some within a short walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When you check in you receive a "free drink" card. The...

This hotel is in a great location on West End a very short ride to downtown. It's right next to Vanderbilt's campus. The rooms are very clean, roomy and comfy. The Commodore bar/lounge on the bottom floor is also a fun place to grab a drink or bite to eat before heading out....with great live music at night on the...
