Very nice hotel. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good - above standard actually. They had waffles, sausage links, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy along with the usual bagels, donuts, toast, cereal, etc. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again if in the area. More

Booked here en route to Charleston, SC. Nice room, well appointed. Friendly staff. Lots of good eating places nearby, as well as gas and even a hospital! Would definitely stay here again. More

We were traveling from Canada to Florida, and needed somewhere near Knoxville to stop for the night. This area, around Powell, has good amenities and almost anything someone on the way through needs: gas, good restaurants, groceries, and so on. You'll read my review further down from Mar 2011. I think it's gone downhill a little since then. The elevator and common stainless steel areas were filthy. I travel for business and I stay here every time I am in the Knoxville area. Cathy is the best! Had to check out early on one trip because my mother had been hospitalized.
