My wife and I visited The Richmont Inn for a long weekend. The location is wonderful, very scenic and rustic with beautiful views. Our room had a balcony and a stunning mountain view. In contrary to what I read in some reviews, the (bath)room was very clean! The Innkeeper Jim gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at... More

I came alone to Richmont Inn to heal. My mother has Alzheimer's Disease and all that that implies. I desperately needed time to recharge and face life again. I stayed in the Lucy Morgan room and waked each morning to the vista of the mountains. It was a God given gift. Sometimes they were gilded with sunlight, sometimes wrapped in... More

This was my third trip to the inn in the past 10 years. I stayed two nights. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. This was my first time staying in the chalet, instead of the main building. It was lovely and the views from the suite were absolutely fantastic. As always, the food was delicious... and Jim,... More

We recently returned from a stay at The Richmont Inn where we celebrated our 28th anniversary. This beautiful inn is on the quiet side of the glorious Smoky Mountains, in Townsend TN.The Inn is rustic but with a touch of elegance. We were greeted by Jim the Inn keeper. What wonderful host. From desserts by candle light in the evening,... More

My wife and I had a great honeymoon here. The leaves were turning and the view of the mountains was incredible. Jim is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the dessert and coffee in the evening overlooking the mountains. I highly recommend the Richmont Inn! More

Wife and I stayed two nights at the Richmont Inn 9/11- A little worried that it had slipped a bit since our last visit four years ago because of more recent postings- If it has, it was very minimal- I did notice a dog minor dog smell just inside the entry from the owner's pets and I did hear them... My husband and I visited Richmont Inn for a long weekend recently. The location is wonderful, very scenic and rustic, all of what you would want for a mountain getaway. The area offered some very nice and different restaurants. We had read reviews on the Inn, which were very mixed, but because it was listed in the Select Registry and... More

Beautiful rustic location; extremely pleasant and helpful service; Jim's suggestions for local attractions and restaurants spot-on. Breakfast unhurried; quality quite variable--from somewhat below to above average. Evening dessert charming, repetitive, but good--the in-house creme brûlée is definitely worth a go. The property is just over 20 years old, and aspects without and within seem to need repair, refurbishment, and facelift--building,... More

We chose to stay here for two nights based on the reviews we saw here on TripAdvisor. My husband is legally blind and we travel with his guide dog. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was how rustic it was. It is a beautifully renovated building in a gorgeous location but it is not friendly to visually impaired... More

Richmont Inn was absolutely great! We were looking for a great place in the Smoky Mountains and we found it! Jim is a great host; he really took care of us, everything from the amazing breakfast, the evening coffee and dessert, and the recommendation for Cade's Cove. We stayed in the "Captain John Stuart" room--very nice and romantic. The setting... More
