My DH and I are drawn to places that are near the activity but far enough away to be restful. Chilhowee Inn fits that bill. We are Knoxvillians who love the mountains but dislike the commercialism of Sevier County. The peaceful side of the Smoky's is where we gravitate to. CI is just that. It sits along side the little... This historical Inn has a welcoming atmosphere and wholesome spirit about it. The owners, Carolyn and John Pullias, make you feel comfortable and welcome. They are knowledgeable about the area. SItting on the front porch over the river and listening to the evening sounds is very relaxing. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and immaculately clean. Close to Cades Cove and... More

We stayed for 5 nights during the middle of Oct. The inn is very close to Smokey Mountain National Park. We loved the location, it was peaceful not congested like Gatlinburg. John and Carolyn are wonderful hosts that make you feel very welcome. You certainly don't go away from breakfast hungry. Our room was spacious and clean. We would definitely... More

My husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's really handy for the national park and we loved relaxing on the veranda in the evening. John and Carolyn were gracious hosts, and the breakfast was superb. I would certainly recommend staying here.

This was our third time in 3 years to stay at Chilhowee Inn. It is super clean and John & Carolyn are warm and attentive. Carolyn even made a diabetic dessert for us, in addition to her decadent desserts. We prefer B&Bs -- and this is probably our favorite.

My husband and I along with 3 other couples stayed at the Chilhowee Inn the first weekend in October. What a Wonderful, Relaxing and Comfortable Inn. Carolyn and John have made their Inn one of the best places to stay. We all felt as though it was our home away from home. Their hospitality was over and above and they... More

This historic B&B is a gem of a place. John and Carolyn think of everything to make your stay more comfortable - - large, lovely rooms, delicious southern-cooked breakfasts and evening desserts, and an incredible front porch with a view of the Little River. You will not be disappointed. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

My wife and I stayed here the latter part of the spring. A great location. Quiet. Easy access to the park. John and Carolyn are wonderful hosts and could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. We will go back.

Great place to stay, beautiful location, friendly hosts, clean and spacious rooms with wonderful views of the smokies and a river running just outside the house. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast as well as the dessert. Highly reccommended!

From the moment you drive up, you know the place is a winner! John and Carolyn have poured their hearts, souls, and sweat into their inn, and are genuinely glad you've stopped by. The gathering area is charming, with music, magazines, a fire, and beverages and snacks. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and charming as well. When we sat in... More
