The facilities were very nice, but automatic door closers and latches did not work properly, leaving room doors unlocked. You had to slam the doors or push them closed with your shoulder. Motel/hotel security is a huge issue on the road. This facility is deficient in the security category.

We stayed with 4 adults 2 big kids, had plenty of room and comfy beds. We went from beach to pool to relax before bed...Breakfast was unexpectantly delish. Fresh omelets, lots of fresh choices, great coffee bar. We will stay again when going to Matagorda.

Stayed for one night last week and was totally happy with my stay. I arrived before 3:00 and they had my room ready. The room was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just stayed here for business for four days. This is a really nice hotel. Rooms are nice. The breakfast is quite good with a wide selection. There is complimentary drinks and snacks some nights. There are B BQ's available if you want to cook your own food and Walmart is just across the street. Free wifi in the room.
