Very nice, classic hotel near Texas A&M. A bit noisy when the trains come by at night, but made up for by the attentive staff. Savannah in particular was over the top in professional and personal service.

A nice change from the usual chain motel, unique location, quaint downtown shops and restaurants. Room and bath tastefully decorated, good view on seventh floor, TAMU in the distance. Nice view at night. The train is loud, but not too bothersome. Milk and cookies at bedtime hit the spot.

This hotel, with the trains running every couple of hours throughout the night pretty much prevents you from sleeping. This charming old 3 Star Hotel is fabulous. Our room was spacious and had a great view on the cobblestone street leading out to shops, bars and resturants. They offer a free breakfast buffet, milk and warm cookiew at 10:00 PM and are you ready for this.... $59.00 per night!
