If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable, healing, unique getaway...this is an amazing place. I was looking for an opportunity to get away, be alone in nature (but not so alone someone couldn't make me meals :) and a place for contemplation. What I found was an amazing, comfortable, quiet healing retreat. Proprietor Mariah was the perfect hostess: knowledgeable,... More

For my birthday weekend retreat, my boyfriend and I totally enjoyed our stay. Rainbow Hearth was exactly what I wanted to get away. It was quiet, lush with lovely nature, comfortable. The bonus of a 24/7 open kitchen with snacks and organic dining was perfect. Breakfasts were abundant with omelets, smoothies, and whatever else you might want, unlimited. Dinner was... More

I had a wonderful time at the retreat. I stayed in skyloft with a wonderful view of the lake. The place is cozy and with positive energy. Hostess Mariah is a wonderful person and a great cook. I needed to get away from the craziness of my daily life and really enjoyed my time. More

We had a very nice stay at Rainbow Hearth. If you want to escape the rat race and just relax, this is a very nice place to visit. The place was very quiet & peaceful with wind chimes blowing and beautiful views of Lake Buchanan (which is very low at this time). They have the best hot tub and the... More

Perfect Hideaway to re-connect, re-lax, re-vitalize....... Take in a deep breath of the fresh air, drink the purified rain water and return to your life a new person. Be sure to visit Medicine Rock. And then sleep soundly in the Sunset House on Sleep Number beds with yummy linens. More

I took my mom here for her 60th birthday. We stayed in the Blue Heron Suite. It was perfect! It is a 2 room suite. The bedroom had a wonderful sleep number bed with wonderfully soft sheets. There is a private veranda off the bedroom that has a beautiful view of the lake. (The lake is rising, but still low.... More

I want to start with the negatives since they are few. The lake is at a very low level which is not their fault because they pump all the water to Lake Travis to keep their level up. The landscape also is a little unkept but my wife and I somewhat prefer the more wild side as it is still... More

This is not your standard recreation playground. It is close to the water recreations sites; unfortunately, the drought makes it difficult to enjoy much of that; but, that is not why my husband and I visited Rainbow Hearth. It is just what we were looking for, a place to replenish the body and the psyche. Mariah offers thoughtful and effective... More
