I had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Hotel on a business trip. The staff and service was unreal!!! Very courteous, prompt and go above and beyond the call of duty. They don't have coffee makers in the room so be sure and ask for one if you don't get up early to enjoy the one down in the... More

This hotel and its staff were nearly flawless. Spent 8 days 7 nights at this hotel with a fairly large group (22 rooms) and everyone was WOWed by the hotel and its staff. Executive King room was large, clean, nice view of the pool, well appointed with sofa and comfortable bed, overall, terrific. Turn-down service every night and happy hour... More

The staff at this hotel really go out of their way for you, I mean every one; from the moment you are greeted at the entrance, checking in, ordering room service or having a drink at the bar to when you ask them to bring your car up for departure. The hotel is showing signs of some wear (musty, smokey... More

My daughter and i came on a spur of the moment trip for my birthday. We stayed during the Film Festival weekend and found that service was excellent. Your concierge Eloy was exceptional in helping us plan my birthday weekend celebrations. He was able to accommodate our requests every day. This hotel is conveniently located near Highland Park for shopping... More

I quite enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Palomar in Dallas; wish I could have stayed longer. Room was a decent size and the hotel was lovely--very quiet and comfortable. More

I have stayed at the Palomar often, and always enjoy it. It is close to downtown and SMU, a chic urban setting with plenty of room to walk your dog and the feel of a posh California hideaway. Pros: Pet-friendly. They have dog beds, bowls, even food and bottled water for your dog. The largest Japanese soaking tubs I've ever... More

I was travelling around TX, OK & AR and was at the Palomar at the beginning and end of the trip. The hotel itself is up to date and stylish as you would expect. I mentioned in a review of a prior Palomar that so often these boutique, quirky type places often miss the basics of a good hotel. This... More

We have stayed @ this hotel numeruos times . It has a great location ,near SMU & the park cities . Also it is close to uptown . The service is good . The health club is acceptable . The recent disappoint has been in the restaurant . The new bar menu is a step down from the previous chef.... More

We are thrilled that you choose to stay with us each time you are in town! We're glad you enjoy our proximity to the fabulous Park Cities as well as Southern Methodist University. We have indeed changed our menu at Central 214 restaurant, which came as a surprise to some of our guests. However, our new Executive Chef Graham Dodds... More

People seem to love this hotel, but after 4 stays, I have to say that service is very unreliable here. Sure, they are all friendly, and yes, they do pour some not so spectacular wine every afternoon in the lobby, BUT housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, the valet service is always friendly but often really bad, problems brought... Hotel Palomar gets an A+ for design and service but, rates a B- for location for me. Crossing Mockingbird Lane to get to shopping at Mockingbird Station or the light rail station or SMU campus is just plain dangerous. We are savvy travelers who regularly navigate NYC and other busy cities but, found Dallas traffic at this corner location significant.... More

Thank you kindly for the lovely review of our hotel. We are pleased that you had a comfortable and rewarding experience here with us at the Palomar. We do regret that our neighborhood has become prone to heavy traffic. Thankfully you did choose to take advantage of our luxurious new Lexus courtesy car to navigate the busy streets. Please do...
