If you are coming to the Houston Medical Center area, I would recommend you stay at Lexington Hotel. Especially if your stay is longer than a week. MD Anderson is .7 miles away from the hotel. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the Medical Center or if you feel up to it, you can walk. The rooms at Lexington... More

I was at the hotel for nearly 2 weeks. I needed to be close to the medical center and I didn't want to rely on a shuttle service. I had no car and parking is expensive. The room was probably 300 square feet with 2 queen beds. There were 2 tables, one in the living area and one in the... More

The Lexington Hotel at the Houston Medical Center is really a great place for an extended stay. The rooms are large and have a nice kitchen area with a regrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, range top and dishwasher. The table can easily seat 5 and includes all required dishes. The beds were very comfortable with a pillow top. The only complaint... More

We were going to a concert in the Houston downtown area. I booked this place based on positive reviews here and the affordable price. We only stayed for one night but I was really impressed with the value for your money hear. You get a room that is not quite a suite but does have a little kitchenette and is... More

The room was set up almost like a studio apartment, with kitchen area, dining table, chairs, & of course 2 big beds. Everything was clean and comfortable. There isn't much of a lobby area, and no associated breakfast area. My only criticism is that the advertised free breakfast barely meets that definition, with coffee, canned juice, some prepackaged snacks, some... More

I stayed 2 weeks at this hotel while dealing with the medical issues of a close relative. The hotel was just what I needed. It is convenient to the Medical Center, and they offer I shuttle to the Medical Center which I did not use. My room was huge. It was great to have the kitchenette. Everything you could need,... More

Great! What else can I say? The hotel is brand new. Smaller, but the rooms are perfectly clean and very new. Nice flat screen TV and large area to cook (Full size fridge stove toaster oven coffee maker dishes pans soap microwave) Sitting chair for watching TV, small work table. Settings for four people to eat at the table. A... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel geared for guests who need to stay for weeks rather than a day. Room was large with a small full kitchen and eating area. Comfortalbe queen beds. Because of the hotel design, it's VERY quiet. Medium size work table, has both WiFi and cable for compter access (FREE) There is a small pool, mostly for... More

I stayed at the Lexington for a scheduled surgery at a nearby medical facility. The surgery was cancelled upon my arrival and I was allowed to return home early. The hotel however refused to refund all the unused days of the reservation. I'll stay somewhere else for my future appointments. Wi-Fi was also intermittant at best.

In short, a colleague and I stayed here for about a week during a business trip. I've marked location with a low score because their aren't make shops and amenities within close walking distance. However the service and for the price the place is great.
