I booked a room based on all the great reviews. We had a room in the main building. I think adding a few basic amenities would not take away the historic qualities of the Inn. Don't like to be negative, so I'll just share a few experiences/observations, you decide if they are insignificant or deal breakers. - No ice, after... More

Thank you for your suggestions. I purchased the property on March 5, 2013 (10 weeks ago) and would like to let you know how much I appreciate your business. For the past 10 weeks I have been in the process of adding a general store in the main office that will provide ice, charcoal, beer, wine & snacks along with... More

Thank you to everyone that has made owning the D'Rose Inn and Cabins for 10 years a wonderful adventure. I have sold the Inn and am moving on to the next adventure. The new owners have chosen not to stay motorcycles only. Ride safe and thanks again!

D'Rose changed ownership last week and has a new name as well. Now known as The Historic Leakey Inn with a website by the same name, the inn has a new energy level, a new vibe and new ambience. While little has changed cosmetically since my last stay, the experience this week was dramatically different. The new owners are experienced... More

My group just spent a week riding the Texas hill country, and stayed at the D'Rose Inn. This is THE place to be if you are a biker (motorized or peddle) if you are in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and priced very reasonable. Deb, the inn owner was very accommodating and knowledgeable about where to ride, sights... More

We had heard of this unique place to stay several times and decided to give it a go. Our cabin was booked for a late arrival and our key was left by the office door. When we entered our cabin we were pleasantly surprised and felt right at home. Our first disappointment was discovering how dirty the wooden floor was.... More

I returned to D'Rose for my fourth visit October 2012. The weather was outstanding and I trailered for the first time. We were treated like family and unloaded and took off to Hunt for dinner at Elaine's Table on Deb's recommendation. The ride was exceptional, 39 was great as always. Dinner was wonderful and tasty. We headed back to D'Rose... More

When we arrived it was like pulling into the ghetto of Leakey. I was really surprised, due to all her strict rules and decieving pictures. The place does not look like the pictures yall. The grounds were overgrown and had'nt been kept in a long time, the huge pile of empty cans and trash behind the dumpster was disgusting and... More

This is truly a mixed review?!The cabins are absolutely awesome.Love the outdoor space. Now for the "down" side.....need new owner, Deb is a huge B**** and I don't think that she knows that she is.Some good strong hormones would do her good or a good strong man.She does a great job with the rooms but "d***" customer service is a very... Couldnt ask for anything more. Like most people who ride motorcycles, Deb is good people. We got 4 cabins and they were great. We will do this ride again and we will stay at D'Rose Inn.

D'Rose Inn is perfectly located in Leakey, Tx, You're near 3 Sisters, the HogPenStore, the Frio River, etc. The cabins are cozy, clean and allow you to park your bike just outside the door. Deb (the owner) makes you feel like family. She gave her favorite route to ride for the best view. A great experience.
