We've been going to Southern Stables for the past three years and we won't go anywhere else. Lori and Dave treat us like were part of the family including their parents! The RV Park is just as good and the cabins are the greatest. Thanks Lori and Dave you guys are the best.

Not only are Southern Stables a beautiful and cozy place to stay, it is safe! The care, comfort, and hospitality of Lori and Dave is hands down the **BEST**. The atmosphere Lori and Dave created is one that made me feel like I was a friend and they opened their extended home to me.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Southern Stables. The hosts were kind and friendly, and Lori's breakfasts were just delicious. We enjoyed walking the grounds, admiring the longhorns and the horses. The giftstore at the RV park was neat, and we took home some of the tasty canned sauces/jams we enjoyed with the breakfasts. A great experience!

We stayed 2 nights at Southern Stables and we experience amazing southern hospitality. The host family were there in the morning preparing a fresh, hot breakfast and were so kind to answer all our questions and give simply driving directions. It was a great bed and breakfast. The breakfast was great and made when we asked. The grounds and animals were super especially the Long Horns never been up close. Bella the 1 month pony was great. Just a real neat experience.

We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast. We always chose hotels. This was by far cleaner, quieter and a better deal. The bedding was top quality, the bathrooms were well stocked and clean. The hosts were friendly, warm and welcoming. We will be going back.

My Mom and I loved the place. Longhorns grazing in the pasture, peaceful atmosphere, home cooked breakfast served with the family, and wonderful rooms. Most times we seemed to have the place to ourselves. Gorgeous furnishings throughout. I'd recommend this B&B to anyone. I hope to get an opportunity to bring my husband back some time.
