Just back from a week in the Montemar Apartments. They are clean, well located and very handy for the bus route to the airport and access to the beach. We stayed here as a group of 4 lads on a trip to see the carnival. All in all great location apartments a little tired and outdated but 2 decent bedrooms and living area with good amenities. These apartments are located close to the promenade only 30 second walk, from there you can use the stairs or lift part way down to the beach. These are less than average apartments with horrendously noisy road if you value your sleep and wish to get any then don't stay here buses run down this road from about 4am until late and are so bad you jump sometimes they are that loud plugs did not fit sinks so you could not wash up or wash your self...
