My girlfriend and myself stay here every time we spend the nite in Gruene to catch a concert at Gruene Hall. The inn is very nice as it is right on the river. The rooms are nice, and the balcony is a great place to sit at night.

I stayed here two nights and loved the charm of the building and surroundings. Spent time on the porch (private from others with wood walls seperating porches) admiring the sunset and river. Wow, is all i can say about Gruene River Inn. The most beautiful view in New Braunfels, overlooking the city. The rooms are so inviting, they need to come and fix up my house... lol... Overall: Great place to stay, staff there to help, and just like staying at a home-a-way-from -home!!!!

Have stayed there on more than one occasion. Always been like a home away from home. Clean, the food is good, within walking distance of downtown Gruene, not noisy at all. I recommend Gruene River Inn to any and everyone.

As a professional musician I spend alot of time in hotels. This is one of my personal favorites. The staff is courteous and a accomidating. The view of the Guadalupe river is enchanting. Spend a few days at the Gruene inn. You will not be disappointed.

I am glad I only had one night here. The mountain climb to our bedroom along tight winding wooden stairs was like a tree house and is a danger if there is a fire. Not so bad, but not so good. Bed was hard as a rock. Bathtub faucet leaked and no shower. Had no view of anything. Was close to a lot of shops and food places and within walking distance. The price is cheaper than most other places in Gruene because it is further out from the Gristmill and all the other places but not by much. We stayed for $125 a night.
