“worst place to stay”

$50.00 a night and not full hooks, can't use your on tube in the river (per Gardo). You don't ouwn the river!

My husband and our family had the best time at Gardos. This was our first time camping. I was a bit apprehensive about it. Not anymore. The camp site and the public showers were kept clean. The owners were nice and came by and talked with us. We are hooked! We will do this again.

This was the perfect place to stay. We had 6 RV sites, the house & cabin rented. The owners Ann, Wayne & Gardner were so nice. The location and accomodations were great. Right on the water. We stayed at Gardos camp in New braunfels for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We stayed in their house rental which had a beautiful view of the cliff overlooking the river.
