Great vacation spot, especially in the off season. This hotel is close to the beach and downtown. The staff is friendly, they have a good breakfast and the pool area is nice and clean. My family enjoyed walking the beach, swimming in the pool and having dinner downtown.

We had the queen suite which was extra large with a separate tv area and mini kitchen. Very clean!!! Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was ok, they had pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. we enjoyed our stay!!

We have stayed here several times during the years and they seem to keep it up very well. The breakfast is nice and they have a roomy breakfast area.

We went to Port Aransas for SandFest 2012. The hotel was located in a good location - close to the beach and also within walking distance of shopping. Parking was plentiful, the room was comfortable and the staff was great.

Need a place for the weekend? HIE is OK for a night or two. Clean, close to beach, friendly. Bed OK. Bathroom drains a bit sluggish. Breakfast average. Price fair value @ $85/night.
