I recently spent a weekend at the Mosheim Mansion. Not only is it a beautiful Victorian house with lovely antiques that are shared with the guests, but the breakfasts are unbelievable. For me the German pancake tops the list. I loved the antiques in my room. Wish I could have taken them with me. The Mosheim Mansion also runs a... More

Needed peace and quiet for a couple of days, away from hubbie, cell phone, telephone and every other type of life interaction there is. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the outside of the house, very attractive and inviting. Upon stepping inside, I was greeted by one of the staff who helped me carry my luggage up the... We love bed and breakfast inns, but this visit was disappointing. The innkeeper was out running errands when we arrived and the greeter did not offer us any introduction to the inn. She did not know if breakfast was available. She just gave us a key and told us the room was upstairs. The guest room was very dark with... More

I am very sorry that the visit was unsatisfactory for this guest. We try to make the description of our property, rescue operation and check-in policies perfectly clear. We assume that guests refer to the website description of the inn and read our check-in policies before they make a reservation. I think that is fair. Our dog rescue is prominently... More

I like the Mosheim Mansion. I don't visit B&Bs very often, but if they're all like this, then I'm a fan. Let me tell you about what you're going to get: The best part is, the building is beautiful on the inside. It's almost museum quality, filled with antiques and artwork. The whole place feels very Victorian and authentic and... More

Booked one night in one of the lower priced rooms since we had never been there before. When we arrived Carol made us feel very welcome, and since no one was in the honeymoon suite, and ghost hunters were filming in the original part of the home, she bumped us up to the honeymoon suite. Very very nice. Hot tub... More

First of all, the mansion is grand and decorated perfectly Victorian. The B&B is the place to stay in Seguin. The owner, Carol is 5 star herself, throw in the fact that she cooks amazing and runs a high end B&B it is a SUCCESS! The beds and linens are comfortable and upscale. The Jacuzzi tub was a hit for... Carol, the owner, is what makes this mansion so fabulous. We had just about given up on staying in B and B's but Carol was so friendly and made us feel like she had known us for years, staying and chatting after the superb breakfast she had prepared for us. She gave us a very reasonable rate on the rooms.... More

This is a WONDERFUL place to stay! I highly recommend this for couples. We stayed for a last minute weekend getaway and were very impressed. The mansion is very true to the pictures on their website. It is beautifully decorated. What I loved most about it was the fact that is felt as welcoming as grandma's house! Carol talks to... More

We arrived at the mansion as a late check-in and were greeted by the owner on the front porch. She gave us a quick tour and showed us to our room. Everything was very clean and there were beautiful antique pieces without making it feel cluttered. The bed was super comfy and breakfast each morning was delicious. Some previous reviews... More

You stay at a bed and breakfast for a reason, be it a change of pace or love of historic detail. At the Mosheim, you will find both. The rooms are spacious and eloquently decorated.Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spotless. It is more the service that would keep you coming back. Carol is a blessing and a gracious host....
