We stayed here on 2 seperate nights within a week and a half. Going to and from Disneyland in California. We reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds online for approximately $83. What a bargain. Both rooms were clean. This includes floors, walls, all bedding, pillows and towels and bathrooms. We were given extra towels per room upon check in. We... More

I stayed here based on other reviews of this hotel and others in the area. The hotel is an older one story hotel, remodeled, and clean. The staff is very pleasant. The area is quiet (except the train which didn't come by often, nor did it blow the horn) not a scary section of town. More

This is one of the old one-story motor plaza motels from the 1940's/1950's with a significant refurb to bring it into the 21st century. The good: The rooms are clean and average-sized for a Motel 6. Since it is a refurb rather than a purpose-built Motel 6 there is an actual bathtub with shower, not a shower stall like in... More

My husband, two kids (ages 4 and 5), and I needed a place to stop overnight on a road trip from Austin to San Diego. It's a Motel 6 in the middle of nowhere, I wasn't expecting much and this place met my expectations. The beds weren't comfy, the shower didn't drain, the hot water and cold water were opposite... We needed a quick overnight stop on a driving trip across the Southwest & picked Motel 6. It's about what you would expect from a Motel 6--no amenities; property was a little tired & in need of refurbishment. But the front desk staff was very friendly & helpful when we checked in. The real reward came the next morning. Several... More

Ok, ....so you need to bring your own hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner. I normally bring these itmes anyway. For the price, I think $43 tax included this place is very worth it. All the other places were $79 to $120 and there were some dumps at higher prices. Motel 6 was clean, refurbished, new beds, shower only, hardwood floors,... More

I stayed one night in Van Horn's Motel 6. It's right by train tracks: I'm a sound sleeper, but the train woke me up twice during the night. Blanket on bed was scimpy; there was no fitted sheet on the bed: the bottom sheet was a torn flat sheet. Smell in room (cleaning solution? mold?) was very strong. Cable TV... More

This is not a luxury resort but the front desk workers were very nice, the pool was well kept and the room was clean. It was well worth the $40ish dollars we spent for the night. The hotel has a nice dessert landscape and is located near a Dairy Queen and a Dollar General store on the edge of a... More

Too many people complain about the piddliest little things. All I need is: a roof over my head, a relatively clean place to lay said head, and as cheap as possible. For the price, what do you expect...a Marriott? Try sleeping on the ground next time. I had no problem with the room. I got one as close to the... More

$54.00 for a tiny room, with a queen bed... only 1 side table... and bad coffee... and a tiny bathroom with no hair dryer that you can barely change your mind in.... but the place was clean.. (or at least looked it) ....oh and don't forget the train... that goes by quite often and will wake you up..... but the... More
