Our family of five had the best time vacationing in these cabins! We stayed over New Years and it was cold so the boys enjoyed visiting the local general store and buying wood for the fireplace! They got such a kick out of the bunk beds and we watched movies and made our own pizzas! What a great relaxing time... More

My family and I stayed in the Red Rooster cabin at the Lodges the week of June 17th. We had a wonderful time! The cabins are very homey with a lot of attention to details. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets, books and old VCR tapes are in the cabin, the kitchen has a coffee maker... More

My sisters and I went for our annual girl trip. We loved it! It was a tad challenging to find at night as there are no lights on street of entrance. Other an that, we loved it. Breakfast came promptly every morning and was delicious! Freshly squeezed OJ was perfect! Inside of the red rooster cabin was fine for 4... More

If you wan't to be away from the rat race of city life, this is the place for you. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The view is gorgeous. Perhaps because of the nearness to RR 337, there wasn't much sign of wildlife. Bring your own food.... you are in the middle of nowhere. I found the experience enjoyable and... More

Came from Fort worth to stay here in mid October. We stayed in the Sweetheart cabin(Solomons Den). Word of caution from the start..Make sure to buy groceries and maybe a couple of magazines BEFORE getting here, as the nearest store is pretty far, but the owner did warn us. Other than that, we had the most relaxing, peaceful and romantic... More

Let me first say that we really enjoyed our stay at the Lodges at Lost Maples. These are 5 cute individual cabins partly clad in wood with front and back porches, set alongside a very quiet dirt road and surrounded by trees. The cabins are sufficiently far apart from each other that each feels very private. They are all very tastefully... More

We drove 330 miles looking forward to our two days mini vacation. Let me start by telling you that there are no wild life of anything. The place is not on a mountain and it is within 100 feet of the major road. We were promised breakfast every morning at 9, no one came. We did not have enough towels... More

The Lodges at Lost Maples are located in a rural area of the Texas Hill County. They are situated along a county road that runs through private property, and it is by no means a major road. The only roads in this area for at least 11 miles are two-lane winding country roads. As indicated in the review The Lodges... More

We stayed in the Treehouse, an upstairs cabin. Fortunately, the downstairs is unfinished. It is cozy, aesthetically pleasing with a high ceiling lined with old corrugated tin. I wasn't thrilled with the delivery of two days worth of muffins on the first day. The venue is serene and clean. The bed is not so good. If you are looking for... More

I have stayed in "cabins" before that kind of smelled funny or had cheapo furniture, but this lodge was beautifully decorated with unique, comfortable furnishings. Solomon's Den "Sweetheart Suite" is so worth checking out. I slept so soundly on the king bed, had a wonderful bath in the jacuzzi tub, I loved the fireplace and the stock of board games.... More

I wanted to take my family way from all of the extras living in the city includes. This was perfect! We took our two little ones and had a blast! Breakfast came around 9:00 which is great if you're not in a rush to go anywhere. It was delicious and well worth the wait. The kids loved the built in... More
