We really loved this motel. The owners are a husband and wife who were really nice and obviously committed to providing a good experience for their guests. We had hoped to stay in a bed and breakfast to get the full Vermont experience, but with little kids (and a tight budget), we were having a hard time finding something appropriate.... More

We found this motel on Tripadvisor and decided to try it out. We were looking for a place north of Hanover, NH that was economical. We were thrilled with the homey feeling in the room. It was quaint, cozy and very neat and clean. The owners were gracious hosts and were easy to work with. My husband said the coffee... More

This hotel was recommended by a lady at The Bragg Maple syrup farm. We called, they had one room left on a very busy Columbus day weekend. We stopped by and stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is very clean, rooms a little small, but very comfortable beds. This is not a high end hotel, and you are not paying high... More

This is a quaint classic motel that has been comfortably updated and is meticulously maintained inside and out. Rooms were small but very efficiently furnished with fridge and microwave, comfortable recliner and desk. Beds were very comfortable. Easy access to free wireless internet. Very conveniently located off the interstate, but tucked back from the road to allow for a peaceful... More

Twin City Motel is a classic roadside independent motel with the actual owners living there and managing the place. You don't find this type of accommodation easily these days! We stayed at the Twin City Motel on August 10 and 11, 2012. They seem to have 3 types of accommodations, some with one queen bed and washroom with shower, some... More

Just got home from a week on business at the TCM. The Barre-Montpelier road has a number of rundown, old style motels but this is no such thing. It's a true motor court set back from the road, meticulously maintained with clean rooms and every amenity (TV, free phone, Wifi, microwave, mini-fridge w/freezer), nice lawns, sculpted firs, hanging petunia baskets.... We decided to book at this motel based on other people's reviews! This place is a dump! We stayed in cottage 20 and it hadn't been properly cleaned. The towels smelled like body odor and the toilet hadn't been flushed after use with the seat left up! gross. The mattress springs were broken, the a.c. smelled of mold and didn't... More

I was very disappointed to read such a negative review as this one. I have been operating my motel for 40 years and take great pride to keep my business clean and updated. The reason why we request a credit card for check in, especially when one pays cash, is because if there are any incidentals that occur such as... More

Great little motel. Be careful with GPS directions, currently off the mark by about 3.5 miles, correct location is just up the street from Walker Volkswagen dealership. The motel is clean and comfortable. The shower stall and bathroom is very small, but works out fine for skinny people. Good value overall and compared to other places in the area.

I stumbled across this motel while my sister and I were planning an 85th birthday trip for our mother. Solely based on Tripadvisor reviews I made a reservation. We were not disappointed. The location was perfectly situated for the attractions we wanted to see. The owers were very nice and helpful. Our room was definitely big enough to accomodate the... More

Solely based on Tripadvisor reviews, spent a weekend here with my wife. Had a bit of trouble contacting the owners, but when I finally did, communications were great. The room we had was clean, and everything (TV, fridge, phone, thermostat, microwave) worked, but the decor was a bit dated (straight from the 1960s motor hotel era). The only down-side is... More
