We stayed at the Brandon Inn for two nights in early April, and it was a wonderful experience in all ways. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and very clean. The bathroom was new and the shower top-notch. This historic inn is beautiful and interesting, (loved the elevator!) with several great restaurants and shopping (don't miss the combination antiques/ice cream... More

When Hurricane Sandy hit in October 2012 and we were without power, my daughter came to NJ from Vermont, picked us up, and drove us to her hometown of Brandon, Vermont. Just that morning, she had booked us a room at the Brandon Inn (where we have stayed a number of times before), for an undetermined number of days. In... More

Room was spotless and had everything we needed. Outstanding staff provided expert advice from skiing to cuisine. Great location for easy walking to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. Nice deep claw-foot tub for soaking at the end of the day. Perfect set up for weddings and special events. Definitely will come back!

Suzannah, thank you for taking the time to review us! We are so glad you enjoyed the old-fashioned claw-foot tub. We only have 11 of them remaining at The Inn, so be sure to request a bathroom with the claw tub if that is your preference. Nice to know that some of the "historic" features are still appreciated. We hope... More

We stayed at the Brandon Inn for a winter wedding. The Inn was a lovely backdrop for a wedding and the food was excellent. The staff at this historic inn were friendly and helpful upon check-in. Our room was decent, though as other reviewers mentioned, the water pressure was quite low. We stayed in a room in the front of... More

Thank you for taking the time to review The Brandon Inn. We appreciate your comments. Yes, sometimes the street noise can be heard from our front rooms, however, the traffic does diminish greatly after 9:00 p.m. We are also addressing the water pressure concern from some of the rooms. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope we see... More

Nice old hotel in a small town in west central Vermont. We will stay there again. Staff was very welcoming. They provided lots of advice on things to see & do in the area. Were very willing to work with us on special requests.

Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean & roomy. Great ambiance. Great breakfast in gorgeous dining room. Wonderfully friendly staff. Only drawback, no TV's in rooms. There is a TV room (maybe on each floor...not sure). Town of Brandon, VT is beautiful. Visit the shop right next door for a great antique treasure hunt & some delicious ice cream.

Thank you for appreciating our "ambiance"! Yes, we do have comfy beds, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast, however we do not have TVs in the rooms. We do offer FREE Wi-Fi throughout the Inn, and we do have a large screen TV on the main floor, and TV rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Visit the extensive list... More

Beautiful, welcoming historic inn- very comfortable and clean. Wonderful full country breakfast and everything done efficiently, but in an old world, charming manner. Gorgeous rooms, very spacious with high ceilings and large baths. Owners Sarah and Louis Pattis are experienced, gracious hosts who make sure their guests have a great stay in Brandon. The town has nice shops and a... More

A typical old Vermont inn, set in the centre of this traditional village. Spacious reception area, dining rooms and lounge and a friendly welcome from the innkeepers, Sarah and Louis. Lots of parking at front and rear with swimming pool and large grassy area at the rear, fringed by trees and a river. Our room was large and clean but... More

This place is grim. Those positives reviews must not have been at the brandon inn in vermont. I am staying there now. HELP. The place is filthy. Carpet must be 30 years old. Beds must have been Ben Franklin's. Paying $179 a night and wish I was at the Motel 6. There is nothing quaint about this New England Inn.... More

A negative review like this takes a deep breath and space of time to respond to, as indeed we must. We are saddened and deeply affected by remarks we consider unfair and frankly nasty. It is unfortunate you did not appreciate our historic Inn, however we can assure all trip advisor readers that all our reviews are verified and authentic.... More

Stayed in the Brandon Inn for a wedding. The inn is in such disrepair. No air or fans in the common areas! It is stuffy and musty. The pool is in need of repair and the hot tub doesn't work. We arrived to check in and found out the elevator was out of order. The sign on the elevator was... More

OUCH! We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. Vermont experienced a long warm Summer this year and although all our bedrooms have window air conditioners, our large high ceilinged lobby and sitting rooms make it very hard to install A/C. We have ceiling fans on the porch and in the main sitting room and rely on open doors... More
