What a lovely place. We stayed there over Thanksgiving because our house was too full of people. Bob and Juliet are warm and friendly people and our room was comfy and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh eggs from their chickens and other local items. We highly recommend this B and B

The home was lovely, the decor unique and interesting, but the personal-use furnishings (sofas and bed) were simply old and extraordinarily worn out! To be a "BED" and breakfast one should, at minimum, provide a decent bed. Also, the unavoidable presence of political posters was in poor taste.

After a long drive from Maine we pulled up to the Cornwall Orchards Bed and Breakfast. The exterior was unassuming...nice, but a little hidden by bushes. I visited Middlebury for a conference and stayed at this lovely B&B. I have to say that I was so happy to have found this place. Less than 5 minutes from Middlebury, not only was Cornwall Orchards convenient for the short jaunt to town, it was a little piece of paradise with a view of the lush countryside and mountains.... Juliet and Bob do an outstanding job here. Beautiful setting with wonderful breakfasts. The best is when Juliet hands you a glass of wine after a long day of hiking and you sit and watch the sun set on their back deck. Most hospitable place ever.

We enjoyed our stay at Cornwall Orchards. We were warmly welcomed and given everything we needed to be comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful. The Gerlins were helpful in giving us directions, and information to help us enjoy exploring the area. There were several people at breakfast who come back yearly because this was such a great place to stay.

Just a few minutes south of Middlebury is a tastefully restored farmhouse set among fourteen beautiful acres. Each room is immaculate, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Place is everything they promise and more. Clean, quite, best country breakfast I ever had. Eggs are right from the chickens out back. Neat old building, great location, great inn keepers. Would definitely recommend this place and wish we had booked a longer stay.
