Our greeting was very warm and inviting.The 214 year old house has recently been tastefully and authentically redecorated. The proprietors were friendly and attentive.They love what they do and love the area. Vermont is beautiful and we found relaxation, site seeing ,shopping and touring. We just dropped by without a reservation, late in the evening during the summer. We were welcomed and made to feel quite welcome by Valerie, Dave, and especially by Molly (their unreservedly friendly rescue dog). The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Tasteful antique furnishings accented the room, while the worn floorboards reminded you of the history of the building.... More
