I have stayed at the Inn many times over the years, and each experience has been truly wonderful. The Inn captures the beauty of Norwich, lovely and quant, with all the modern conveniences one would want. Their customer service is Excellent … top notch. The kind and caring staff is always ready to help, with a warm and friendly smile.... More

My recent experience with this INN was by far the worst customer service I've ever had with a hotel. Beware!! I made a reservation in September 2011 for May 2012. Received a written confirmation from them regarding my reservation and my credit card was charged. When I called a last week to check on my "reservation," I was told "oh... More

We acknowledge and regret our mistake with respect to the original reservation. We do not acknowledge the characterization of the Inn as callous and uncaring. The dates of the reservation were for a very busy weekend in the Upper Valley. Two weeks in advance of the stay, when our error was pointed out by the customer, we were very concerned... More

I had known of the Norwich Inn for decades and was looking forward to staying there. We had a room at a good price (I thought), but it was in the main building and very small. The reception staff was adequate, not fantastic. The room had furniture that was past its best but not antique. The heating system took us... More

RE: Restaurant - Had dinner here during spring getaway. Ate in main dining room (off lobby)...classic New England decor...charming room & setting. Had a beer-themed meal. Started w/pint of in-house brewery ale, appy of beer-battered onion rings w/homemade ketchup (thick & not too sweet) & ale-braised lamb shank. Lamb served w/onions, veggies & homemade hazelnut bread pudding. A unique &... More

I visited this inn while taking my daughter to visit Dartmouth. We stayed in Room 34 on the 3rd floor. I got a great price on the room, which had a queen and a twin bed. The Inn itself is very pretty inside and out, but it is just a little worn. The bar/pub and main restaurant look really appealing,... More

The Norwich Inn is a lovely place to overnight while in Vermont! We stayed in one of the older rooms in the Inn itself and found it comfortable and full of character, though there are new rooms in the Inn's annex. The Inn has a small patio where we were able to taste many of the beers from its micro-brewery... More

This was our second visit to the Norwich Inn and the first since they built the new rooms. The new rooms are very well done and each has been decorated with its own style and gas fireplace. We did get a tour of the old part of the Inn and those look as if they had been updated also. Overall,... More

We stayed in a beautiful, large room on the third floor of the main inn and everything was perfect. The downstairs common rooms were very comfortable as well. We had dinner in the pub room that is right off the entry hall and it was delicious. More

My wife and I stayed at the Norwich Inn during last week's winter school vacation, and used it as a base to explore many more areas across the Green Mountains. The hotel was great, comfortable, cozy bar and healthy breakfasts. We stayed in one of the larger buildings and it was very well appointed. More

What a gorgeous exterior (I even thought the addition, that others have panned, blended well with the area)! Public areas inside ranged from somewhat worn (perhaps a homey feel intended?) to picture perfect. Phil and Matthew in the tavern were the best! And the front desk personnel were overall very friendly helpful. Food was good but the dining areas would... More

Room 24 is our smallest (we like to think coziest) room in the Inn which is reflected in the price compared to our other rooms. Most of the rooms in the main building have much larger bedrooms with king or queen beds (room 24 is our only double bed room) and many have renovated bathrooms. Our 22 new rooms in... More
