We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting friends in the area. The rooms aren't huge but they are very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom and shower were small but given that you don't really spend too much time there it didn't matter! I would definitely stay there again.

It is an "old school" style motel that includes many modern amenities (i.e. flat screen t.v.s, microwave ovens, memory foam mattresses (in Room 5 at least), etc.). Governor's Rock Motel is very comfortable with cozy furniture, cute little table and chairs, microwave, good-sized mini-frig, and quiet. Such a nice little place. Room was very comfortable, nice bed, love seat, microwave, fridge and nice tv. It was perfect with my one year old, nice big yard in the back for him to run around in.
