This place is amazing. Great restaurant, awesome staff, and its own private mountain. Really nice atmosphere. We enjoyed a beautiful rustic roomed, titled "The Birches", with a cool wood framed bed and fireplace. The hot tub was really nice too.

Some folks aren't going to like the crowds that have migrated and constantly return to the Hermitage. In time the Hermitage will return to a be the quaint Inn that it is. Unless you "belong" to the Hermitage Club you are clearly snubbed. Either that OR waitstaff cannot handle more than 1 party at a time. Poor bartenders. Our house at Mt Snow was being used by friends and we suggested that the non skiers go down the road and eat lunch at the Hermitage. We took a one night get away to the Hermitage... It was absolutely wonderful! Positives: Amazing food. Best lettuce I've seen since being in Hawaii.
