We and our 2 huskies had a great time. The inn is very quiet and peaceful, you can relax. The park was great. The breakfast were excellent. Will return for sure. Recommend the Lye brooks fall hike, it's 40 mins away but worth it. Stop at the Brasserie l'ousteau on the way back, its a french bistro with a nice... More

We stayed there with our eleven year old golden retriever last weekend. The grounds was immaculate, common area welcoming and everything in the inn was very dog oriented. The room we were in was cozy, we did not use the play house, which is a spacious, bright kennel with a dog wash nor hiked around the property. We have use... More

Had a Living Social deal- we were greeted by Mitch the moment we pulled up. The room is cozy, decorated with a huge bed, sofa and a dresser. Nothing fancy or modern, but who cares-this place is, literally, for the dogs. A dog bed for one dog (the other claimed the sofa). We stayed in the "Spot" room- bed was... More

This was Maisy's first vacation and she had a blast. She loved the wide open grounds and doggie park for playtime. The rooms were perfect for us and gave her plenty of room to stretch out. We stayed in the Spot room and enjoyed having an outdoor porch. Food was excellent , and always served with a smile. Mitch, Carrie,... More

We just spent the weekend at The Paw House and had a fantastic time. Everyone at the inn was friendly and helpful, especially Stanley. Our breakfasts were fantastic. Murphy and Carrie were a pleasure to see each morning. Kudos to Murphy for her excellent morning eats. She is also a plethora or knowledge for places to go and people to... More

My friend, Molly, and I had our first experience at the Paw House recently and Molly especially felt right at home. This is Molly's first vacation, our first two nights were at the Best Western and did not get any sleep. Molly wanted to bark at every slight sound she would hear down the hallway, so when we went to... More

We had fun and it sure was nice to get away. we were greeted by Mitch when we arrived after a somewhat harrowing 7 1/2 hour ride from Cape Cod and he immediately made us feel right at home. They even had a chalkboard welcoming our pup by name in the mud room.We loved what Murph and Carrie did with... More

We absolutely loved the tranquility of this place. We stayed in Shakespeare retreat and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Our dogs had a great time and so did we. Thank you Jen & Mitch!

Friendly, warm and inviting dog friendly place to vacation with your favorite furry friend!! Good location and lots of great suggestions for hiking and eating. Breakfast was very nicely done and everything was clean and tidy. A lot of charm and character. Very low key quiet atmosphere which is what we were after for our mid winter getaway.

I was at the Paw House this past weekend just for a brief visit. I was looking for a quiet, country place to spend a few days with my dog and the Paw House seemed to fit the bill. Some pros and cons (well, not cons really, but things to be aware of). Pros: The house is beautiful and the... More
