As an allergy sufferer traveling can be a challenge. But at this B&B you can leave your worries at home. The place was spotless clean (hardwood floors in the downstairs room), no pets around, the bedding low allergen, and the owner very attentive to food allergies. I stayed at Coolgreen for the first time June 16, 2012. I say "first time" because I absolutely must go back. The house is fantastic, the views of Mount Rogers and Whitetop gorgeous, the breakfast divine (how does new harvest apples, bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy sound?), and the owners superb.
