My wife and I had a relaxing stay at Riders Rest. Bernie was gracious and welcoming. The room was special and clean and priced right. We especially liked the atmosphere, the hearth fire, books, and decorative touches everywhere. It was personal. We will definitely rebook the next time we pass that way. More

Just back from a 5 night stay at Riders Rest. What a welcome we received from Bernie the Innkeeper even though we arrived just before midnight. He had upgraded us to the Kingfisher room even though we had booked the Swallow room. The room was fabulous, bed was massive and very comfortable and there was a beautiful claw foot bath.... More
