My husband and I were in Lexington for business and our niece's graduation from Washington and Lee law school. We chose to stay at Llewellyn Lodge on the recommendation of a family member. We were not disappointed! We had a lovely room, fantastic breakfasts and great conversation with John, our host. The Lodge is in walking distance to downtown Lexington,... More

I was traveling on business alone to a city I had never been to before. When this happens, I try to find comfortable and safe lodging. When I visited the B&B's website, I was pretty sure I had found the right place. The inn close to Washington and Lee (where my conference was), and John made me feel right at... More

Thanks for the positive feedback, we hope to see you again. Many times we get visitors here at the Lodge who are singles here on either business or vacation. One of the consistent comments we get from these guests, especially ladies, is the feeling of being in a safe and friendly environment where their needs will be taken care of... More

Plenty of Southern Hospitality from John who made us feel very welcome in this lovely spot which is an easy walk to all the sights and Skyline Drive. Wish we were staying longer. More

Located in nice neighborhood. Pleasant stroll distance to Stonewall Jackson cemetery (very interesting). Comfortable bed. WiFi worked very well. Host was helpful. If you like old houses, you will like this B&B. HOWEVER rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and staircase are very small and very cramped. The “old house smell” is strong and I found it unpleasant. You must accept the temperature... More

Thanks for the nice comments, we hope to see y'all back soon. LLewellyn Lodge gets many referrals from the two colleges here, Washington & Lee University and Virginia Military. The people who refer us have done so thousandsof times, they know we will take care of them as we have done for over 27 years. John Roberts, Owner More

We went down to vist my daughter at Washington and Lee School of Law and had a great stay at Llewellyn Lodge. Our host John was so helpful and informative and the lodge is ideally located to walking the 10 to 15 mins to the center of town and historic sites. We are very excited to be going back to... More

We wanted to get away for the night and Llewellyn suited us perfectly. A short walk to most any where in town. John has quite a few menus of restaurants so we were able to decide where to go before we headed into town. They've been innkeepers for a lot of years and it shows, they know how to take... More

Llewellyn Lodge was a useful stopover for driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed on the way (south) and on the way back up to finish our trip in Washington DC. The Lodge was a 10-15 minute walk into town which was really convenient for eating. The room was adequate but not as nice as some of the other places... More

We enjoyed a three-night stay at Llewellyn Lodge, during a busy weekend when Lexington was packed with reunion groups, lacrosse fans, and leaf-peepers, while attending a wedding in the area. With so much going on around town, Llewellyn Lodge's six b&b rooms were already booked when I called; however, host John Roberts kindly offered us the third floor suite, which... More
